LASSARAT has developed expertise on all types merchant and navy ships.
The company has numerous customers in merchant and navy shipyards for new works, maintenance, asbestos removal and dismantling.
With experienced and trained teams, Lassarat provides technological solutions tailored to meet its customers’ challenges as well as the legal, safety and environmental requirements.
Our teams work on new installations and on maintenance and decommissioning works, with the aim of extending the life of your assets.
Lassarat works on installations on board oil rigs, floating production, storage and offloading (FPSO) units and ships. Teams are trained in how to work in these confined and hazardous environments.
Lassarat applies the necessary surface treatments to protect structures and make them safe.
Contracts can be for maintenance or new projects, on site or in our workshop. Teams are qualified in the various applicable standards in ACQPA, asbestos, lead etc.
Lassarat is reputed for its teams’ expertise in protecting equipment against wear and corrosion, in the demanding cutting-edge environment of energy.

Surface preparation
This first, quality-guaranteeing stage is of fundamental importance because it ensures total adherence of future paint and coating systems and therefore ensures the durability and cleanliness of our customers’ assets. The aim is to achieve a level of cleanliness and surface profile prescribed by the regulations, standards and specifications.

Concrete Treatment
This department aims to help concrete withstand attack. Spalling, exposed rebar, honeycombing: our experts intervene on concrete using techniques such as injection, repair and reinforcement with resin and carbon fibre.
Encapsulation & Access solutions
To meet the needs of customers and provide turnkey solutions with a single contact person, Lassarat has diversified into additional services alongside its core offerings, and has trained dedicated teams.
Asbestos removal
The work, which is carried out under the supervision of the protective authorities, workplace physicians and the certification body AFNOR, ranges from encapsulating the area to be treated, through the regulatory analyses, to removing the materials. The work is carried out by our teams who are specially trained in these “confined spaces” operations.
Structural Strengthening
Over time, some metal components (poles, pipes, tanks etc.) suffer corrosion and their mechanical integrity declines.
Structural strengthening by strapping thus improves the mechanical properties of your damaged structure and avoids costly replacement.
Heavy Metals
Drawing on our experience in asbestos removal, we have developed environmentally friendly ways of removing coatings containing heavy metals (lead, zinc and chrome in particular).
Thanks to our policy of innovation and our commitment to accountability, our teams have put together a process for the capture at source of water containing heavy metals. Where this technique cannot be used, our teams install full encapsulation to direct polluted water to our mobile treatment units.
Local Workshops
With our surface cleaning preparation and coating equipments enable in our numerous workshops installed at our branch sites (steel abrasive blasting, metal spraying, coating and painting) , Lassarat can offer customers a combination of workshop and/or site services throughout the country.
